An established professional services practice in Northern New Jersey is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Manager to oversee multi-state payroll operations and employee benefit programs across the organization. This role ensures accuracy, compliance, and efficiency while improving systems and contributing to a seamless employee experience. Minimum of 5 years of payroll and benefits management experience in a professional services or corporate environment
Strong working knowledge of multi-state wage, tax, and compliance regulations
Proficiency in payroll and HRIS platforms (ADP preferred) and advanced Excel expertise
Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving ability with strong analytical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work collaboratively with HR, Finance, and leadership teams
Certification such as CPP, PHR, or SHRM-CP is preferred
