Founding Strategy & Operations Generalist
Founding Strategy & Operations Generalist Job Opening in San Francisco, California Job#16858442
A newly Series A–funded AI fintech startup in San Francisco is hiring its first Strategy & Operations Generalist to partner directly with the CEO on the company's most pressing challenges. Your initial focus will be recruiting, where you will design the hiring process, manage the candidate pipeline, and help the team triple in size while keeping the talent bar high. From there, your scope will expand into sales, pricing, and finance, including pricing model development and new revenue initiatives. You will also handle core business operations such as reviewing contracts, overseeing billing, coordinating with the outside accounting firm, building light financial models, and managing insurance and administrative matters. Acting as a junior chief of staff, you will take on open-ended problems with clear goals, solve them independently, and build AI tools, agents, and automations that take repetitive work off the team's plate. The role follows a hybrid schedule of four days onsite and one day remote, and the package includes a competitive salary, equity, and relocation assistance.
