An Am Law 200 firm is growing its Construction Business Unit in Los Angeles, in Southern California, and this is a hybrid role. You’ll take primary responsibility for your own files, from motion practice and depositions to trial preparation and courtroom appearances. You’ll work on construction matters and use your advocacy, research, and negotiation skills to move cases forward. - 4 to 6 years (only) of construction litigation experience
- Hands-on experience with trial preparation and courtroom practice, including primary file responsibility, motion practice, and depositions
- Experience with construction, engineering, or architecture matters, and familiarity with insurance defense processes, are a plus
- Strong advocacy, legal research, writing, and negotiation skills, with excellent attention to detail and organization
- Strong academic record from an ABA-accredited law school
- Actively licensed to practice law in California
