Recruiting advice
Source from Palantir and big three consulting: Target Palantir Deployment Strategists first. Then go after McKinsey BCG and Bain folks with 2-5 years of client-facing work. FDEs with real customer-facing time work too.
Customer-facing is the key: The HM wants relationship people who've traveled and met with customers. Skip internal builders and biz ops profiles. Coding isn't required but they need to be technically literate. Materials robotics or energy exposure is a plus.

Recruit from - McKinsey & Company, Boston Consulting Group, Bain & Company, Dassault Systèmes, Ansys, Siemens Digital Industries Software, PTC, Autodesk, Hexagon, Altair

  • Drive renewals and expansions, and help move promising prospects closer to signing
  • Translate customer feedback into clear asks for engineering and product, then close the loop quickly
  • Debrief in SF with the GTM, sales, product, and engineering teams between customer trips
