If you thrive when the pressure is on and the deadline is real, a high-growth AI data company in New York City wants to talk to you. As one of four Strategic Projects Leads, you will be the person frontier AI labs rely on to turn an open-ended research question into a finished, trusted dataset, running each customer engagement from the first conversation through final delivery. You will keep multiple projects on schedule, recruit and manage networks of subject-matter experts without formal authority, shift priorities quickly when a researcher changes direction, partner with engineers on the tools and workflows behind the work, and act as the final quality check on evals, verifiers and trajectories before anything goes out the door. This is a hybrid position with three days in the office. The package combines a competitive base salary with a potential bonus and equity, and the company will consider candidates on visa transfers (OPT, H1B) as well as those who need new sponsorship.

Qualifications

At least one year in management consulting, investment banking or startup operations, ideally in a fast-moving environment
Experience at a top-tier consulting firm, investment bank, private equity firm or venture-backed startup
Proven record of leading client deliverables to deadline and taking full ownership of results
Self-starter with strong judgment and genuine enthusiasm for AI data work
A plus: Time spent as a Strategic Projects Lead or Deployment Strategist at an AI data lab or tech company
A plus: Degree from a top-30 school, familiarity with trajectories, verifiers and evals, and comfort with vibe coding
